When it comes to digital pianos, the main challenge engineers face is to reproduce two things accurately: the sound and the feel of an acoustic piano. Both tasks are very difficult because there’s too much going on inside this amazing musical instrument.
Bora designed a kind of high-end digital piano which is comes with hammer action. It have been built with a keybed that effectively emulates the feel of an acoustic piano and the ‘weight’ of the keys. This weight automatically feels more ‘natural’ when we play a piano and helps us gauge how hard to press or hit the key to get the sound we want. Press softly and the sound will softer, press harder will cause a louder sound. And Bora's sound source chipset also provide the sound that’s almost indistinguishable from a real piano.
If you are learning to play piano and you are committed to it, you need a piano for around the home or you are going to study music, we’d definitely recommend using a weighted keyboard. It will encourage your finger strength and dexterity a lot.
If you are playing your piano outside frequently, or just wanna play it for fun, it’s probably a better idea to get a lighter piano keyboard like our portable electronic piano BX2 or splicing electronic piano(BR-01).
